Katherine Heigl opens up with the world on her "white bubble childhood" and how it's had an impact on how she raises her multiracial adopted children. She is the "Firefly Lane" and "Grey's Anatomy" actress revealed in an interview recently that in regards to the color of her skin, she didn't care what she wore when she was younger, but once she talked about her sister's age, whom she taken in to South Korea, she realized how different society treated each of both. "I inquired of Meg how she was treated differently when she went out with us parents than when she went out on her own. Meg responded "Oh yes! All the all the time!" Heigl admitted to her parents that she realized the extent of her ignorance. According to the actor she became angry. She wanted to channel her anger into helping the girls she adopted. Heigl as well as her 13-year-old husband -- the singer Josh Kelley -- have a 4-year-old son together, Joshua Bishop Kelley, Jr. They were adopted by Nancy Leigh from South Korea at the age of 12 in 2009. and then Adalaide whom was eight years old young and Black as of 2012.
