My child played around inside a playpen, while I was working 12-hour shifts in sanding floors as well as removing the wallpaper. Ha! My business was not only expanding, but so was our sweet family as well. It was like I found the ideal way to balance being a mom as well as starting my own company. Growing Days just fit. Nora my fourth child was born in 2013. Though I was content about the direction my company was taking, I realized that I had to take an occasional break. I decided to put off doing work on my furniture for a while and be at home with the kids. It was the right time. It was only after several months that my phone began to ring. They were asking for my assistance in decorating as well as renovations. The majority of them had attended my house during the open houses that were held for furniture. In the following time I began to take on customers at my pace. In no time, I was managing numerous accounts as well as a home renovations business. If you had told me that my company would become the premise for a DIY Network show, I might have thought you were crazy. Indeed, I am laughing slightly when I recall the episode.
