Nadia and Carol

Nadia Comaneci, (born November 12th, 1961 Gheorghe Gheorghiu-Dej (now OnestiThe name of the company is Onesti Romania) Romanian gymnast who was the first gymnast in history to be awarded a perfect score of 10 during an Olympic event. Comaneci was first discovered by Bela Karolyi who was later her Romanian gymnastics coach when she was six years old. In 1969 she was a participant in the Romanian Junior Championships where she placed 13th. She took home the trophy in 1970. In 1972, at a meet of communist countries juniors in the lead-up to the Olympics she won three gold medals. In 1973 and 1974 she became the champion of all juniors. She took home four gold medals and one silver in her first international competition for seniors that took place in 1975. It was the first time that she competed as an adult. In 1976, she won the American Cup at the New York City Olympics and became the first woman in history to dismount the parallel bars with double backwards salto. Carol Wayne.........................Carol Wayne was an American film and TV actor best recognized for portraying Art Fern's Tea-Time Movie Lady on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson. Her path into the world of entertainment began in her teens when she began dancing as a figure skater with her younger twin sister Nina Wayne as part of the touring entertainment show known as Ice Capades. Carol Marie Wayne was born on September 6 1942 within Chicago Illinois US. Carol started her entertainment career during her teenage years. In her early years she began her journey as a figure skating performer with Nina Wayne in the travelling show called Ice Capades. These shows included ice skating and other shows, which were also accompanied with musical theatre.
