Emily VanCamp

Emily Irene VanCamp, a Canadian actress and actor, is known for playing the lead in many television series as well as her strong performances in movies. Both Canadian and American Television are avid fans of Emily VanCamp. Emily began to become interested in acting profession when she was just 12. When she was 12, Emily visited her elder sister Katie at the film set. When she realized that acting was her interest, she started to take acting lessons and attend auditions. The first commercials she auditioned for were however, she was eventually cast as a child actor on the Canadian television show, Are You Scared of Darkness? which featured her in just one scene without any dialog. At the age of 15, Emily got her biggest breakthrough when she became regular on the WB TV program Glory Days. Emily's role in the show by WB Glory Days which ended up being cancelled 9 episodes later, drew the attention and casting of Greg Berlanti from Dawson's Creek. Emily was also a photographer and ballerina was named by Teen magazine as one of the best actresses younger than 20. In Maxim's Hot 100 for 2014 listed her as number 51.
